Bikur Cholim lends a variety of medical equipment, such as:

  • wheelchairs,
  • walkers (traditional and rollators),
  • canes,
  • crutches,
  • bath benches & shower chairs,
  • and commodes.

We also have breast pumps, when needed for medical emergencies (e.g., when baby and mother need to be separated for a short time).

If we don’t have what you need, try Bikur Cholim of Lakewood who can house larger items like hospital beds, ramps, etc.

    Equipment Loan Form

    • Return wheelchairs directly to us on the return date.
    • Wheelchairs are heavy. Bring along someone who can carry it up a flight of stairs.
    • Maximum weight is 250 lbs. Let us know in the comments if you need a larger chair.
    • Loans are for members of the Jewish community of Middlesex County, New Jersey.
