Bikur Cholim of Raritan Valley held its Annual Event breakfast at The Pines Manor on March 5, 2017.

Bikur Cholim had the pleasure of paying tribute to three families for their many years of service to the organization and the community. Harry and Dalya Chefitz and family were the distinguished Guests of Honor and the well-deserved Gomlei Chesed awardees were Leon and Sharon Glaser. The Morris Family received special recognition with the Keter Shem Tov award for their commitment to making the Bikur Cholim room at Robert Wood Johnson a reality.

Mr. Mitch Rottenstreich served as MC, Rabbi Mykoff of Congregation Poile Zedek gave the Rabbi’s Message, and Rabbi Dovid Goldwasser was the guest speaker.

Over 300 people attended, including representatives of the Pastoral Care offices at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, St. Peter’s University Hospital and JFK Medical Center.

The Annual Event is an important source of funding for the activities of Bikur Cholim.
